The 21-year-old actress shared her hair transformation on Twitter as she prepared to let go of her long tresses to play a cancer-stricken teenager in the upcoming film adaptation of John Green's novel "The Fault in Our Stars."

The photo timeline began with a snapshot of scissors followed by Woodley holding three cut ponytails. Finally, she shared a makeup-free pic of herself with the new 'do.
The new look was also for a good cause as the "Spectacular Now" actress plans to donate her long tresses to Children With Hair Loss, an organization that takes cuts of eight inches or longer for kids who have lost their own locks
